As promised in an earlier blog entry, here are some highlights of photos I have taken of food and beverages over the years. Makes me hungry just looking at them! Bon appetit!

Full Bloom

Hot summer weather has finally arrived in Connecticut! I am having so much fun photographing my husband's perennial samples. I love the rich colors and textures. Here are a few recent highlights:

Furry Friends

Not to be left out, I thought I'd share a few recent photos of the "furry children" I have come across in my travels. I don't know who thought the mohawk was a good idea, but I must say the little guy wore it well! I love how their personalities are so evident...and so different!

My Birthday Boy

Hope everyone had a happy 4th! A couple of weekends ago we celebrated my son's second birthday. I can't believe how quickly the time has gone! Here are a few of my favorite photos from his party. You may recognize some of the faces from previous posts...

Happy Birthday...Times Two!

I had so much fun photographing a 70th birthday party for twins earlier this month! What a special family. Every detail was thoughtfully done. I especially loved watching everyone take turns at the mic wishing the birthday girls well with a special song, poem or personal tribute. Here are a few highlights from the afternoon:

Parade Fun!

If you have never been to Black Rock Day, I highly encourage you to check it out! The neighborhood and its residents have so much personality, as does the parade that marches through at noon. Here are some highlights of this year's spectators. And what parade would be complete without Shriner cars? Special thanks to the "E" family for hosting!

Memorial Day Birthday Girl!

What a great weekend for a party! "L" celebrated her 2nd birthday over the Memorial Day holiday weekend. She was truly the belle of the ball with her matching doll! Here are some highlights of L and her friends enjoying the day. I especially liked "E's" mohawk, which is apparently all natural!

Last weekend I photographed a birthday party for 70-year-old identical twins! It was amazing to watch their devotion to one another and their families. I hope to post some highlights soon.
