Prima Ballerina

I recently spent an afternoon with “T” and her mom. T’s mom and I served on a nonprofit board together for several years, so it was wonderful to catch up and marvel at how much her daughter has grown since I’d last seen her.

T was a great sport about all of the costume changes and it didn’t take long for her to open up and let her personality shine through. Here are a few highlights from the afternoon:

The photos are going to be a surprise for T’s dad. Several people have contacted me about booking sessions as a gift for parents or grandparents. I love the idea of helping families capture and remember a special moment in time and will happily work with clients to accommodate their timelines.

Spring fever!

In honor of the spring weather this weekend, my husband and I packed up our son and dog this morning and headed to the beach. Pets are allowed at our local beaches until April 1st, so the dogs were out in force! We had a ball visiting with - and photographing - several of them. Their personalities practically leap right out of the photos! As a reminder, I am available for pet portraiture as well as children's photography.
