More Party Fun!

"D" shared her second birthday with "C," who was featured in my last post. Their parties were a week apart, but they shared beautiful weather and a fun yard to play in! And what could be better than pizza and cupcakes? I can't wait to meet the newest play group member (featured below), due next spring!

Birthday Bonanza!

The past month has been full of birthday parties! It is always fun to see how each family celebrates their little one's milestones. "C" had beautiful weather the day of his 2nd birthday party and a great yard to play in. Oh - and the cake was a hit, too!

Bienvenue!

I had a lovely visit with friends last month who welcomed Monsieur "A" into their lives in late July. He has such a wonderfully expressive face! But nothing beats the way he looks at his mom. And who can resist big sister, "L," with those beautiful, white blond curls? Adorable!

Fall Is Coming!

It has been a busy couple of weeks! I have new photos to share soon. In the meantime, here is one of my son showing off the pumpkin he and his dad picked in our garden recently to kick off the fall season!

Paris Reunion

I have been waiting a long time to photograph this family! Dad "B" and I studied journalism together and spent a summer abroad in Paris while at Indiana University. To this day, he remains one of my favorite people, so I couldn't wait to meet his children (human and furry). They are a great family - fun, relaxed and photogenic! Here are a few highlights from our day at the beach:

Unexpected Guest

The past several weeks have been very busy for me and my family. We have visited with family and friends, welcomed new babies to our circle of friends (with more to follow before month's end) and, just this weekend, celebrated my sister's wedding.

As I awaited the arrival of my husband's family the week before last, I happened upon an unexpected visitor in my driveway. I don't know who he belongs to - he is very handsome despite the obvious absence of a tail - but he quickly opened up and spent a few minutes cuddling with, and posing, for me. I haven't had cats for many years now, so it was nice to spend a few quiet moments scratching his back while he licked my elbow. Hope he stops by again sometime.

"E" et Sa Grandmere

I had the opportunity to visit with "E" and her grandmother again when they joined us to watch the Fairfield Half Marathon in late June. She is so sweet and has the most beautiful brown eyes!
