Unexpected Guest

The past several weeks have been very busy for me and my family. We have visited with family and friends, welcomed new babies to our circle of friends (with more to follow before month's end) and, just this weekend, celebrated my sister's wedding.

As I awaited the arrival of my husband's family the week before last, I happened upon an unexpected visitor in my driveway. I don't know who he belongs to - he is very handsome despite the obvious absence of a tail - but he quickly opened up and spent a few minutes cuddling with, and posing, for me. I haven't had cats for many years now, so it was nice to spend a few quiet moments scratching his back while he licked my elbow. Hope he stops by again sometime.

"E" et Sa Grandmere

I had the opportunity to visit with "E" and her grandmother again when they joined us to watch the Fairfield Half Marathon in late June. She is so sweet and has the most beautiful brown eyes!

Furry Friends

Not to be left out, I thought I'd share a few recent photos of the "furry children" I have come across in my travels. I don't know who thought the mohawk was a good idea, but I must say the little guy wore it well! I love how their personalities are so evident...and so different!

Happy Birthday...Times Two!

I had so much fun photographing a 70th birthday party for twins earlier this month! What a special family. Every detail was thoughtfully done.
